Closing the Gap: Women, Pain, and the Path Forward

Join us for a live education webinar sharing key insights from a national roundtable that brought together experts in women’s health, chronic pain, and Veteran care. Despite growing awareness, chronic pain in women remains under-recognized, under-researched, and often undertreated impacting both women Veterans and civilians.

This session will highlight emerging evidence, lived experiences, and critical gaps identified during the discussion, with a focus on where systems are falling short and what can be done to improve research. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the gendered dimensions of pain, as well as practical considerations for advancing more equitable, inclusive approaches to research, policy, and treatment.

Whether you are a researcher, healthcare provider, policymaker, or advocate, this webinar offers an opportunity to engage with timely findings and be part of the conversation shaping the future of women’s pain care.
