CPCoE Statement re: Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs Report

An overview of best practices for reporting on Veterans in a fair, balanced, and accurate way.

Ten military Veterans living with chronic pain from across Canada completed the second annual Military Veterans Alpine Challenge (Alpine Challenge) on Saturday, August 19, in Whistler, British Columbia. The Alpine Challenge is a seven-kilometre hike organized by the Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence for Canadian Veterans (CPCoE) with the goal of equipping Veterans with education and training to manage their chronic pain and to bring awareness to the issue.

The Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence for Canadian Veterans (CPCoE) is excited to announce it has appointed Lieutenant-General (retired) J.O. Michel Maisonneuve as Campaign Cabinet Chair. LGen (retired) Maisonneuve completed 35 years of active service in the Canadian Armed Forces and will play a vital role in advancing research for Canadian Veterans living with chronic pain and their families.
