Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator

Busayo Akindolie is the Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator at the Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence for Veterans (CPCoE). She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from Carleton University and a Master’s degree in Global Health Systems from Western University. With over four years of experience in the non-profit space across diverse contexts, Busayo specializes in translating research into actionable strategies that enhance the well-being of underserved populations.

At CPCoE, she is dedicated to bridging the gap between research, policy, and practice, ensuring evidence-based solutions are accessible to Veterans and their families. She is particularly passionate about using knowledge mobilization to improve chronic pain management and overall health outcomes for Veterans in Canada.

Outside of her professional work, Busayo volunteers with various nonprofits, contributing to initiatives that strengthen her community and advance health equity. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, she also enjoys cooking and connecting with others through community-focused projects.

The Centre of Excellence’s Board of Directors oversees the operations and financials of the Centre of Excellence as a not-for-profit, and includes veterans, industry leaders, and chronic pain experts from McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences and Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.
